Groundbreaking thesis Recycled block of flats ↗ illustrates what and how the resources of the demolished building stock can be utilised as part of the construction of residential apartment buildings in densifying growing cities. The review of reusable parts focuses on precast concrete frames, which represent potentially the most significant single unutilized resource of the building stock to be demolished from the point of view of their intact demountability and demolition volume. The architecture of the proposal promotes a vision for the aesthetics of reuse ↗, the flexibility it offers and the sustainable housing production of the future. The research has captured broad attention in the public debate and seminars dealing with the circular economy, e.g. at the Nils Erik Wickberg seminar 2022 ↗
